Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in designing and implementing monitoring and logging platforms that ensure high availability of services. Your expertise in automation using Python or Golang allows you to streamline processes and improve system reliability. You are familiar with Kubernetes and understand how to manage containerized applications at scale, ensuring they run smoothly in production environments.

You possess knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, which you use to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. Your experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions enables you to implement efficient deployment pipelines that enhance the development workflow. You are also knowledgeable about service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd, which help in managing microservices communication.

Your understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, allows you to effectively measure and improve service reliability. You are familiar with incident response and post-mortem best practices, ensuring that your team learns from outages and continuously improves system resilience. Strong problem-solving skills are part of your toolkit, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As an Associate Architect - SRE at Myntra, you will drive the reliability, scalability, and observability of our e-commerce platform. You will design and implement robust monitoring and logging platforms that provide insights into system performance and reliability. Your role will involve automating processes using Python or Golang, ensuring that our services are highly available and resilient.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the deployment and management of applications on Kubernetes. Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code will be crucial in automating infrastructure provisioning and management, allowing for faster and more reliable deployments. You will also work on implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, streamlining the development process and improving code quality.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing service mesh technologies to optimize microservices communication and enhance security. Your understanding of SRE principles will guide your efforts in setting and measuring SLIs and SLOs, ensuring that our services meet the reliability standards expected by our customers. You will participate in incident response activities, leading post-mortem discussions to identify areas for improvement and prevent future incidents.
