Who you are
You have a strong background in business strategy and deal negotiation, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to align customer needs with strategic priorities is key to your success. You thrive in cross-functional environments, working closely with sales, legal, and finance teams to drive effective deal formation and execution. Your analytical skills enable you to develop metrics and processes that enhance visibility and consistency across geographies. You are adept at managing complex contracts and ensuring compliance with revenue recognition requirements. You understand the importance of minimizing sales cycle times while maximizing revenue and profitability. You are a proactive communicator, capable of negotiating directly with customers when necessary.
Desirable
Experience in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus, as is familiarity with licensing and pricing models. You are comfortable with data analysis and can leverage insights to inform deal strategies. A background in sales operations or revenue management would enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop in-depth knowledge of Navan's licensing and pricing models to support global sales teams in deal structuring and quoting. You will collaborate with the sales team to identify ways to meet customer needs while adhering to company policies. Your focus will be on enabling deal formation and execution, ensuring that sales cycle times are minimized and that revenue, profitability, and market share are optimized based on business priorities. You will actively negotiate deals with customers as needed and work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management. You will drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness through deal reviews and the enforcement of standard business practices. Additionally, you will assist with non-standard deal requests and structure sophisticated deals while ensuring compliance with revenue recognition requirements. You will oversee deal financials, pricing, and business risk, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.
What we offer
Navan offers a competitive salary range of $132,000 to $215,000, which includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the company's growth and success.
