Who you are

You have a strong background in IT support management, with experience overseeing technical support operations in a data centre environment. You are skilled in managing ticket queues and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Your ability to assign and coordinate work for technicians based on urgency and skill set is essential for maintaining operational stability.

You possess hands-on experience with server hardware support, including rack-and-stack activities, cabling, and remote hands tasks. Your coordination skills extend to working with facilities teams on power, cooling, and other mechanical or electrical issues. You are the go-to person on-site during incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution of IT and infrastructure-related issues.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and prioritize the data centre ticket queue, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently and within agreed service levels. You will assign tasks to on-site technicians, taking into account their skills and the urgency of the issues at hand. Your oversight of hands-on support activities will be crucial in maintaining the operational integrity of the data centre.

You will coordinate with facilities teams to address any power, cooling, or mechanical issues that may arise, ensuring that the data centre operates smoothly. During incidents and outages, you will act as the on-site point of coordination, leading efforts to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a stable and efficient data centre environment.
