NerdWallet is hiring a Sales Trainer for their Small Business team to enhance closing performance and coach Account Executives. This role requires expertise in business lending and a focus on improving sales metrics.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales training, particularly in the business lending sector, and thrive on helping teams improve their closing rates. You understand the intricacies of the sales process and can identify key friction points that hinder performance. Your experience allows you to deliver targeted coaching that drives measurable results, and you are adept at developing training programs that resonate with sales teams.

You excel in a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales Managers to diagnose challenges and implement effective strategies. Your ability to analyze live calls and pipeline data enables you to provide actionable insights that lead to improved sales outcomes. You are passionate about empowering others and take pride in seeing your trainees succeed in closing deals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with Sales Managers to enhance the closing performance of Account Executives. You will identify and address key challenges in the sales process, from proposal to close, to improve win rates and shorten sales cycles. Your coaching will be hands-on, focusing on live call analysis, deal reviews, and pipeline assessments to provide individualized and small-group training.

You will design and deliver practical training programs that equip sales teams with the skills they need to excel in objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques. Your contributions will directly impact the team's ability to meet and exceed sales targets, making a significant difference in the overall success of NerdWallet Small Business.
