You have extensive experience as a Business Systems Analyst, particularly with Workday Payroll, and possess a deep understanding of payroll processes in the US and Canada. Your ability to gather and translate business requirements into actionable user stories and functional designs sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, and Engineering teams to deliver effective solutions. Your hands-on approach to configuration and analysis allows you to optimize processes and ensure compliance in payroll operations.

You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify areas for improvement within the payroll ecosystem. Your experience in managing projects and leading enhancements showcases your ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution. You are also an effective communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

Desirable

Experience with payroll systems beyond Workday, as well as familiarity with finance technology, would be beneficial. A background in project management methodologies and tools can enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and processes as Netflix continues to evolve its finance organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the Workday Payroll ecosystem, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization as it grows. You will gather business requirements and translate them into user stories, proposing options with pros and cons to recommend the best-fit solutions. Your responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining pay components, earnings and deductions, tax elections, and garnishments, as well as overseeing benefits and payroll integration touchpoints.

You will lead projects and enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll processes and ensure compliance with regulations. Your role will involve significant stakeholder engagement, requiring you to communicate effectively and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. You will also analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
