What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neuralink, you will support the design, build, and testing of mechanical systems for our brain-computer interface devices. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, contributing to the development of components for surgical robotics, automation, and microfabrication. Your responsibilities will include designing and validating systems for the implant and related hardware components, as well as developing and improving manufacturing processes to support in-house production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Electrical Engineering, and Surgery Engineering, to define system requirements and ensure successful project outcomes. You will also scope, design, and iterate custom tooling and fixturing required for the implant assembly line, gaining hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field.
