Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on maintaining secure and efficient environments. Your expertise in AWS networking and familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls make you a valuable asset in managing complex infrastructures. You are proficient in Linux command line operations and have a solid understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux, with several years of experience in OS patching in production environments.

Your hands-on experience with automation using Bash and Python allows you to streamline processes and improve deployment efficiency. You have worked extensively with customer-facing production environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Your knowledge of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Cloud Formation, positions you well to contribute to the team's success.

Desirable

Experience with web interfaced Java application configurations is a plus, as it complements your DevOps skill set. Familiarity with emerging concepts in DevOps and infrastructure automation will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the NiCE Actimize environment up to date and secure. You will work with a multitude of modern tools and technologies to efficiently build and deploy releases throughout the software development life cycle. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production AWS environments will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in DevOps, ensuring that the infrastructure is robust and scalable.

Your role will involve managing AWS infrastructure, configuring networking components, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data. You will also be tasked with automating processes to enhance deployment efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Your expertise in Linux and scripting will be crucial in maintaining system performance and reliability.
