Job Description
Who you are
You are a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and operational excellence. With over 5 years of experience in SRE or related fields, you have a proven track record of enhancing system reliability and availability. Your expertise in AWS and Linux allows you to design and implement robust solutions that meet high availability standards.
You possess deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Your experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus and Grafana, enables you to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users. You are a strong communicator, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that improve service resilience.
What you'll do
As the Lead Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, you will set engineering standards for the SRE organization and lead the execution of cross-team reliability projects. You will define and maintain SRE standards, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring that reliability is embedded in solution design across the organization. Your role will involve partnering with architecture and engineering leadership to establish consistent patterns for SLI/SLO design and incident response.
You will lead large-scale, strategic SRE initiatives that require alignment across multiple teams, serving as the technical owner for cross-functional reliability projects. Your leadership will drive efforts to reduce toil and improve service quality, while also mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
