You have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in managing production systems. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to effectively automate and maintain applications, ensuring they run smoothly 24/7. You are proficient in using Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, which helps streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.

Your experience with Linux systems is extensive, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues effectively. You are also skilled in scripting languages such as Python, which you use to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in system reliability and performance.

What you'll do

As a Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineer at NICE, you will be a key member of the Site Reliability team, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. You will lead investigations into root cause outages and performance issues, utilizing your analytical skills to develop solutions that enhance system reliability. Your role will involve managing the work backlog and prioritizing tasks to balance project delivery demands with the automation of low-value tasks.

You will provide technical leadership to the Cloud Operations and Support teams, guiding them in best practices for maintaining high availability and performance of our services. Your initiatives will focus on developing automation strategies that reduce manual intervention and improve response times to incidents. You will also collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality.
