Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on improving system reliability and availability. Your background includes providing on-call support for major incidents and implementing solutions to reduce outages. You are skilled in creating dashboards for observability and have experience with SLI/SLO metrics.
You have a solid understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and are proficient in automation tools and practices. Your experience includes consulting with development teams to enhance their reliability and you are comfortable documenting processes and findings to share with your peers.
You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys identifying root causes of incidents and implementing permanent fixes. You have a passion for mentoring and training other SREs, helping them grow in their roles. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do

As part of your responsibilities, you will review the work of other SREs and provide mentorship, ensuring that best practices are followed across the team. You will support services before they go live through system design consulting and by developing software solutions that enhance reliability.
