Who you are
You have a strong technical background with experience in installing and deploying complex solutions in real-world environments β your hands-on experience has equipped you to handle various challenges that arise during installations. You are comfortable traveling to customer sites and providing remote support, ensuring that each deployment is stable, secure, and ready for production.
You possess expertise in configuring hardware and virtualization platforms, and you are adept at installing Windows components and NICE applications. Your familiarity with networking and telephony systems allows you to integrate seamlessly with customer networks and PBX/CTI environments. You understand the importance of thorough documentation and knowledge sharing, which sets support teams up for long-term success.
You are a proactive communicator who can clearly articulate technical concepts to customers and project managers β your ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues effectively ensures that projects are completed successfully. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Desirable
Experience with NICE applications or similar public safety solutions would be a plus. Familiarity with installation test procedures and project management methodologies can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Professional Services Engineer at NICE, you will be the primary technical resource responsible for the successful installation of customer solutions. You will travel to remote sites for installations, commissioning, upgrades, and go-live cut-overs, ensuring that each deployment meets the highest standards of quality and security. Your role will involve configuring systems across servers, networking, databases, and telephony, making sure that all components work together seamlessly.
You will be responsible for conducting detailed installation test procedures before go-live, ensuring that every aspect of the deployment is thoroughly vetted. Your hands-on approach will allow you to troubleshoot issues on-site and provide immediate solutions, while your strong documentation skills will help maintain clear records of installations and configurations.
You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their operational capabilities. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring project success. You will also engage in knowledge sharing with support teams, helping to build a foundation for ongoing success and customer satisfaction.
