Nielsen is hiring a Head of AMER Deal Desk to oversee the deal desk for their Audience Measurement business. You'll drive enforcement of commercial policy for significant revenue and partner with sales leaders. This role requires strong leadership and strategic oversight.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in business operations, particularly in managing deal desks and overseeing commercial policies. Your background includes working closely with sales teams and finance to ensure effective pricing strategies and deal approvals. You are a trusted advisor who can navigate complex negotiations and provide valuable insights to drive revenue growth.
You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to measure and report on deal desk performance effectively. Your ability to implement pricing remediation actions demonstrates your proactive approach to maintaining compliance with commercial policies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to achieving extraordinary results through teamwork.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive the enforcement of new commercial policies that impact $600M in revenue across 2000 deals annually. You will oversee the deal desk for the AMER region, acting as a trusted business advisor to sales leaders and finance. Your responsibilities will include approving deals in line with the new discounting approval hierarchy and ensuring that pricing remediation actions are implemented where necessary.
You will establish measurement and reporting systems to track policy enforcement and deal desk performance, providing insights that will help shape future strategies. Additionally, you will support proposal and negotiation efforts for large deals that constitute $300M of revenues, ensuring that all agreements align with company objectives and standards.
