Whatnot is seeking a People Ops & Systems Lead to build and lead their global people operations infrastructure. You'll oversee onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HRIS strategy as the company scales. This role requires strong leadership and systems architecture skills.

You have a proven track record in people operations, with experience in building and leading HR systems that support rapid growth. Your expertise in onboarding and offboarding processes ensures a seamless employee experience from start to finish. You are skilled in designing scalable processes and implementing HRIS solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to leverage data to inform decision-making and improve people operations. Your ability to navigate compliance and documentation requirements ensures that the organization adheres to legal standards while fostering a positive workplace culture. You are a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the full People Operations function, leading initiatives that support the employee lifecycle as Whatnot scales from 1,000 to 1,500+ employees. You will design and implement scalable processes that enhance the efficiency of the People organization, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing onboarding and offboarding, managing employee lifecycle administration, and developing HRIS and people systems strategies.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and implementing a shared services model that supports the entire People organization. As a leader, you will mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Whatnot's people operations as the company expands into new international markets.
