Overview

Ogilvy is hiring an Account Manager for their Brand & Marketing Communications team to drive impactful communication strategies. You'll work within a leading healthcare communications agency in London. This position requires experience in account management and client relations.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in account management, ideally within the marketing or communications sector — you've successfully managed client relationships and understand the nuances of brand strategy. Your experience allows you to navigate complex client needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive results.

You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — you can articulate ideas clearly and effectively, ensuring that clients feel informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Your collaborative nature enables you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and analytics.

You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously — you thrive in environments where you can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality. Your proactive approach helps you anticipate client needs and address potential challenges before they arise.

You are passionate about the healthcare industry and understand the importance of effective communication in this space — you stay updated on industry trends and best practices, allowing you to provide valuable insights to your clients. Your ability to think strategically helps you contribute to the overall success of campaigns and initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in healthcare communications or working with pharmaceutical clients would be a plus — you understand the regulatory landscape and can navigate the complexities of healthcare marketing. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As an Account Manager at Ogilvy Health, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring the successful execution of marketing communications strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop creative solutions that meet client objectives and drive engagement.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and understanding their needs — your role will involve regular communication to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting reports that demonstrate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.

You will work closely with creative and strategy teams to develop compelling content and messaging that resonates with target audiences — your insights will help shape the direction of campaigns and ensure alignment with client goals. You will also oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within scope.

In addition, you will contribute to new business development efforts by identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and supporting pitches for new clients — your understanding of the market and client needs will be crucial in these efforts. You will also mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills in account management.

What we offer

Ogilvy offers a dynamic work environment where creativity and collaboration are at the forefront — you will have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the healthcare industry and contribute to impactful campaigns that make a difference. We provide ongoing professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.

You will enjoy a hybrid work model that allows for flexibility while still fostering team collaboration — our London office is equipped with modern amenities to support your work-life balance. We also offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health and wellness programs, to support your overall well-being.
