You have deep expertise in Node.js and are familiar with serverless architectures on AWS. Your experience includes working with various AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB, which you leverage to build robust backend systems. You are comfortable with cloud storage solutions like S3 and CDN services like CloudFront, ensuring that your applications are both efficient and scalable. You also have experience with messaging services like SQS and SNS, which are crucial for building responsive applications.

Desirable

Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React is a plus, as it allows you to collaborate effectively with frontend teams. Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting solutions like Redshift and OpenSearch will also be beneficial in this role. You are a proactive learner, always seeking to improve your skills and stay updated with the latest technologies in backend development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work with the Product Engineering team to build out the Okendo platform, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that support the various products offered by Okendo, including Reviews, Referrals, Quizzes, Loyalty, and Surveys. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.

You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you tackle complex challenges in software development, from debugging issues to optimizing performance. You will also be involved in testing and deploying software, ensuring that releases are smooth and that any issues are addressed promptly.
