You possess deep expertise in Node.js and have experience with serverless architectures on AWS. Your familiarity with various AWS services, such as API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB, allows you to build robust and scalable backend systems. You are comfortable working with messaging and queueing services like SQS and SNS, and you understand the importance of efficient data storage and retrieval using technologies like DynamoDB and OpenSearch.

Desirable

Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue, Angular, and React is a plus, as it allows you to collaborate effectively with frontend teams. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools will enhance your ability to deliver high-quality software quickly. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the team and the business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work with the Product Engineering team to build out the Okendo platform, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that support the various products offered by Okendo, including Reviews, Referrals, Quizzes, Loyalty, and Surveys. Your role will involve writing clean and efficient code, conducting thorough testing, and deploying software solutions that meet business requirements.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure that the solutions you develop align with the overall product vision. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, helping Shopify brands cultivate brand advocacy and maximize lifetime value. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and mentoring junior engineers to help them grow in their roles.
