What you'll do
As the Sales Director at Okta, you will oversee the daily operations of the Account Executive team, ensuring that they are equipped to close new logo opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing customers. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving quarterly revenue targets and monthly goals, and you will maintain accurate and up-to-date Salesforce data to provide reliable forecasts to upper management.
You will actively participate in the sales process, quoting and negotiating complex transactions while assisting your sales reps in closing deals. Your consultative approach will help you deliver Okta's vision to a wide base of accounts, and you will work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on sales strategies and objectives.
