Job Description

Who you are

You have expert-level experience in audiovisual design and implementation of enterprise AV systems — your background includes managing AV systems for conference rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are reliable and user-friendly. You possess moderate networking and general IT capabilities, allowing you to integrate AV systems with IT infrastructure seamlessly. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of CAD software, which you use to create and manage design packages for AV installations.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with IT and events teams to ensure that AV systems meet the needs of all users. Your problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot and repair AV systems effectively, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum usability. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance AV workflows and processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and manage the ongoing improvement of conference room AV and video conferencing design standards — you will oversee the design and build process for new global office build-outs, ensuring that all AV systems are up to OpenAI's high standards. You will manage programming and commissioning of AV spaces, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all systems are functional and meet user needs. Your responsibilities will also include designing AV systems for a range of environments, from standard conference rooms to premier event spaces, ensuring that each installation is tailored to its specific use case.

You will develop next-generation AV automations and workflows, integrating AV systems with IT systems to create a seamless user experience. Troubleshooting and repairing conference room AV systems will be a key part of your role, as you work to maintain high availability and reliability. You will collaborate with IT and events teams to ensure compliance with job posting standards and provide reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
