Overview

OpenAI is hiring a Program Manager for Industrial Security to develop and scale a security program across multiple locations. You'll collaborate with government partners and internal teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations. This role requires deep expertise in US Government industrial security programs.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in industrial security, particularly within the context of US Government programs. Your experience includes hands-on program execution, allowing you to effectively manage and track various workstreams. You are adept at collaborating with diverse teams, including government partners and contractors, to safeguard sensitive projects and R&D initiatives.

You possess excellent organizational skills, enabling you to create and track program management plans, budgets, and schedules. Your ability to deliver training and ensure compliance with regulations is a key strength. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards in audits and compliance, particularly in the context of NISPOM and DoD/IC regulations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and scaling a world-class industrial security program across multiple locations, including Washington DC and San Francisco. You will create and track program management plans, ensuring that all objectives are met efficiently. Your collaboration with GRC, facilities, and other teams will be crucial in ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

You will support multi-year security roadmaps that align with OpenAI's Public Sector projects and sensitive R&D initiatives. Your role will involve balancing the agile nature of OpenAI's business with the timelines and requirements associated with US Government compliance. You will also be responsible for delivering training and ensuring that all audits are passed, meeting the highest standards.
