Overview

OpenAI is hiring a Support Partner Manager to oversee the health and performance of support partner relationships. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. This role requires strong operational and vendor management skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in vendor management and operational accountability, with experience in establishing frameworks and standards for workforce management. You understand the importance of maintaining exceptional support quality in a fast-paced environment and are adept at building relationships with external partners. Your ability to drive commercial and operational accountability is complemented by your skills in forecasting and capacity planning.

You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with sales, technical success, product, and engineering teams to deliver the best possible customer experience. You are comfortable navigating complex issues and providing technical guidance to maximize customer value and adoption of products. Your experience spans diverse customer backgrounds, from startups to global enterprises, allowing you to tailor support strategies effectively.

What you'll do

As a Support Partner Manager at OpenAI, you will own the health and performance of multiple support partner relationships, ensuring they meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards. You will lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and develop escalation paths and remediation plans to address any performance issues. A significant part of your role will involve defining the operating model that enables support to scale efficiently without linear headcount growth.

You will establish how workforce management is conducted across both internal teams and external business process outsourcing (BPO) partners, focusing on frameworks and systems for forecasting and capacity planning. Your leadership will be crucial in architecting automation systems and workflows that enhance support quality in the face of rapid growth and technological advancements.
