You have a proven track record in talent management, with extensive experience in developing and implementing talent strategies that align with organizational goals. Your expertise allows you to operate with significant autonomy, translating enterprise talent strategy into scalable programs that enhance performance and engagement. You possess outstanding communication skills, enabling you to effectively partner with HR business partners, HR centers of excellence, and business leaders. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a mindset focused on driving leadership capability within the organization.

You thrive in environments where you can take initiative and lead projects without direct people management responsibilities. Your ability to manage complex programs and your strong program management discipline set you apart. You understand the importance of measuring the effectiveness of talent programs and are skilled at using data to inform decisions and drive improvements. You are passionate about fostering a culture of performance and accountability, ensuring that every employee is engaged and empowered to contribute to the organization's success.

Desirable

Experience in the public sector or with organizations that serve local and state governments would be a plus. Familiarity with AI and ERP solutions is also desirable, as it aligns with OpenGov's mission to enhance public service through innovative technology.

What you'll do

As the Senior Talent Management Manager at OpenGov, you will lead the development and execution of talent management programs that support the organization's strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with HR business partners and other stakeholders to ensure that talent initiatives are effectively planned, launched, and adopted across the organization. Your role will involve assessing the effectiveness of existing programs and making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.

You will be responsible for driving engagement and performance through various talent management initiatives, including leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement strategies. You will work to create a culture of continuous improvement, where feedback is valued, and employees are encouraged to share their ideas for enhancing talent programs.

In this role, you will also be involved in measuring the impact of talent management initiatives on organizational performance. You will analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement. Your insights will help shape the future of talent management at OpenGov, ensuring that the organization remains a leader in public service.
