You have 5+ years of experience in healthcare economics or a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and cost analysis. Your expertise allows you to identify opportunities for medical expense savings and develop sound projections that impact clinical outcomes. You are a collaborative leader who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels. Your analytical mindset helps you navigate the intricacies of medical cost analytics, forecasting, and pricing strategies. You are passionate about improving healthcare affordability and are committed to making a positive impact on patient care.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of analysts focused on Oscar's total cost of care strategy. You will collaborate closely with analytical leads across various units, including forecasting, medical cost analytics, and data science, to identify cost-saving initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing projections and measurements of the medical cost effects of initiatives, ultimately aiming to improve affordability for Oscar's members.
You will report directly to the VP of Medical Economics and will be instrumental in driving actions that support the company's strategic goals. Your leadership will guide the team in analyzing data and implementing solutions that enhance clinical outcomes and reduce costs. You will also be involved in presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring that data-driven decisions are made to support Oscar's mission.
What we offer
Oscar provides a competitive salary range of $163,944 - $215,176 per year, along with comprehensive employee benefits. You will have the opportunity to participate in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and be eligible for annual performance bonuses. As a remote position, you will enjoy flexibility in your work environment while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming healthcare.
