Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally within the health insurance or related industries. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and partners is key to your success. You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively, balancing remote work with travel for client meetings. You understand the importance of providing brokers with the necessary tools and information to sell products effectively.

You are detail-oriented and possess strong research skills, allowing you to identify potential leads and target accounts efficiently. Your proactive approach to outreach—whether through phone calls, emails, or social media—ensures that you are always in touch with potential clients. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, making you a valuable asset to the sales team.

What you'll do

As a Sales Executive at Oscar, you will play a crucial role in driving membership growth for the business. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify potential leads, ensuring that insurance brokers across our coverage area have the information and tools they need to understand and sell our products effectively. You will conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts, reaching out to prospects through various channels.

You will qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their potential fit with our products and services. Your efforts will directly contribute to the sales team's success, as you drive sales efforts by identifying and qualifying distribution partners, including insurance brokers and agencies. You will report to the Director of Sales, collaborating closely with them to align on strategies and goals.

In this remote position, you will blend work from your home office with frequent travel for client meetings. Occasional travel may also be required for team meetings and company events, allowing you to connect with your colleagues and share insights on best practices.
