Job Description
Who you are
You are a seasoned data scientist with a strong analytical background and at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and experimentation. You have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex A/B tests and multivariate experiments, demonstrating your ability to derive actionable insights from data. Your expertise in causal inference techniques, such as difference-in-differences and propensity score matching, sets you apart as a leader in the field. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, finance, design, and engineering teams to align data insights with business objectives. You are passionate about fostering a data-driven culture within the organization and enjoy mentoring junior analysts and data scientists. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Desirable
Experience with Bayesian experimentation methods and advanced statistical modeling would be a plus. Familiarity with tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in product management or marketing analytics can also be beneficial as you work cross-functionally to drive business impact.
What you'll do
In this strategic role, you will lead the experimentation roadmap at PandaDoc, defining and executing a strategic plan for measuring impact across the organization. You will focus on high-leverage business questions related to customer workflows, churn risk, and long-term value. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and rigorously analyzing complex experiments to assess the effectiveness of proposed product changes. You will apply advanced causal inference techniques to provide leadership with a clear understanding of true impact and causality. As a senior analytical leader, you will champion the shift towards a data-driven culture, training other analysts and data scientists on causal methodologies. You will act as a strategic thought partner to various teams, ensuring alignment between data insights and critical business decisions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed strategies that enhance customer experiences and business outcomes.
