Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in sales and account management, with a focus on building relationships with merchants. You are comfortable moving into micro markets and identifying quality merchants to drive sales. Your experience includes minimizing risks associated with fraud and chargebacks, ensuring a high standard of merchant onboarding. You are a proactive problem solver, capable of resolving issues that arise during the onboarding process and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
You understand the importance of collaboration and are eager to engage with various business and technology teams within Paytm to identify and address common bottlenecks. As a brand ambassador for Paytm, you embody the company's values and are committed to helping merchants grow their businesses through innovative solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This will involve visiting merchants, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to help them succeed. You will actively seek references from converted clients to expand your network and identify new opportunities. Your role will require you to adhere to risk guidelines and ensure that all merchant onboarding processes are followed meticulously.
You will also be expected to engage with various teams within Paytm, sharing insights and feedback to improve the overall merchant experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and build trust with both merchants and internal teams will be crucial to your success.
