Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with merchants and driving device sales. Your ability to physically navigate micro markets and identify high-quality merchants sets you apart. You understand the importance of minimizing risks associated with fraud and chargebacks, ensuring that merchant onboarding is of the highest quality. You are a brand ambassador for Paytm, embodying the company's values of staying hungry, humble, and relevant.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and can effectively engage with various business and technology teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Your communication skills allow you to build trust with clients and colleagues alike, ensuring that you can effectively represent Paytm in all interactions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's devices among merchants in your designated area. This will involve physical movement into micro markets, where you will identify and sell to quality merchants. You will also minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring that the onboarding process for merchants adheres to the risk guidelines set by the team. Regular visits to merchants will be necessary to resolve any high-risk issues that may arise.

You will actively seek references from converted clients to identify other potential merchants. Engaging with various business and technology teams within Paytm will be crucial to identifying common bottlenecks, especially on the technology front. Your role will require you to be proactive in addressing challenges and ensuring that the sales process runs smoothly.
