Paytm is hiring a Service Team Lead to manage a team focused on QR Code and Sound Box business growth. You'll oversee service operations and ensure effective ticket closure for merchant issues. This role requires a strong service background and local market knowledge.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong service background, ideally in industries such as DTH, broadband, or consumer electronics. Your experience includes managing teams effectively, with a focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction. You possess local market knowledge that enables you to understand the competitive landscape and formulate strategies accordingly.
You are analytical and data-driven, capable of managing service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely ticket closure for both proactive and reactive merchant issues. Your skills in inventory management and stock handling are well-developed, allowing you to oversee material management from hub to field service engineers (FSEs).
You have a trainer mindset, ready to mentor and develop your team of service FSEs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. Your upselling skills will also contribute to the growth of Paytm's QR Code and Sound Box business.
What you'll do
As the Service Team Lead, you will manage a team of 15-20 service FSEs, ensuring they meet performance targets and deliver exceptional service to merchants. You will oversee SLA management, focusing on the timely resolution of merchant issues related to devices. Your role will involve planning market strategies to grow distribution and market share in your assigned area of operations.
You will be responsible for formulating and launching counter strategies against local initiatives taken by competitors, ensuring Paytm maintains its competitive edge. Your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing market size, span, and geographies, allowing you to make informed decisions that drive business growth.
You will also play a key role in material management, coordinating logistics for both forward and reverse processes. Your ability to upsell will be essential in maximizing the potential of Paytm's offerings to merchants. You will foster a collaborative environment, encouraging your team to share insights and strategies that enhance service delivery.
