Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and 10 to 12 years of experience in facilities, property management, or hospitality — your background in the service industry has equipped you with the skills to manage complex operations effectively. You possess a strong understanding of local occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring that all operations comply with necessary standards. Your experience includes managing critical facilities and overseeing vendor management for specialized services, which has honed your ability to negotiate and maintain contracts effectively.
You are a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills — your ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively has helped you build strong relationships with stakeholders. You have a proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts, which is essential for managing financial activities related to facility operations. Your strong budget management and financial analysis skills enable you to track spending and ensure that all financial activities align with organizational goals.
You have a keen understanding of the technical aspects of property management, including utilities and infrastructure projects — your experience allows you to oversee the day-to-day operations of outsourced manpower involved in janitorial work, security, and maintenance of equipment and assets. You are proactive in risk management, ensuring that property risk management programs are implemented and maintained effectively.
Desirable
Experience in managing large facilities or multiple locations is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced facility management software. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple priorities and meet key performance indicators.
What you'll do
