Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, particularly in the travel or transportation sector. Your experience includes building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including government bodies and private operators. You are skilled in negotiation and have a keen understanding of revenue management and pricing strategies. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that operational performance meets the company's objectives.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to benchmark market trends and competitor performance effectively. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pricing and analytics, enables you to implement dynamic pricing strategies that enhance revenue. You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues related to revenue leakage and cancellations, ensuring a smooth operational flow.
What you'll do
As the Regional Lead, you will be responsible for managing and growing Paytm’s relationships with State Road Transport Corporations and private bus operators in your assigned region. You will drive strategic partnerships, ensuring competitive supply availability while taking end-to-end ownership of regional revenue and operational performance. Your role will involve onboarding new operators and ensuring their digital adoption of Paytm Travel tools and dashboards.
You will negotiate commission structures and payout terms aligned with platform objectives, while also owning and driving revenue targets, load factors, and seat fill rates for your region. Regular market and competition analysis will be part of your responsibilities, where you will benchmark fares and operator quality against regional competitors, providing actionable insights on price trends and demand patterns.
