What you'll do
As an OSP Line Technician, you will work at various locations in the New York City metro area, executing work orders and preparing work zones using safety cones, signs, and other equipment. You will be responsible for routing, organizing, and marrying cables and coils in both outside plant and inside plant environments in preparation for splicing. You will collaborate with your line team to confirm conduit paths, install new fiber cables, and conduct network expansion plans. Additionally, you will ensure that all work is accurately documented and report any incidents in a timely manner. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the existing outside plant network and ensuring that our customers receive reliable connectivity services.
