You have 3+ years of experience in a wholesale underwriting or production role, demonstrating a strong record of success in excess and surplus lines (E&S). You possess active home state general and surplus lines licenses, showcasing your commitment to the industry. With a producer mindset, you know how to sell, build relationships, and close deals effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, generating quotes and servicing policies at speed without sacrificing quality. Your communication skills are clear and effective, allowing you to adapt your tone to various stakeholders including agents, carriers, and teammates. You are organized and accountable, adept at juggling multiple priorities while tracking every detail.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive growth by bringing in new business and expanding QuoteWell's carrier footprint through strategic appointments and strong producer relationships. You will own outcomes by navigating the quote-bind-issue lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring fast and accurate turnaround on every deal. Operating like an owner, you will build and evolve QuoteWell's wholesale capabilities, particularly within binding authority lines, driving efficiency and scale as the company grows. You will work across teams, partnering with Engineering, Product, and Operations to design and implement tools that make underwriting in surplus lines smoother and smarter.
