Who you are

You are a dynamic and driven sales professional with a proven track record in managing complex sales cycles. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you thrive in environments that require negotiation and effective follow-up. You possess the ability to work under pressure while carrying a sales quota, and you are comfortable presenting to potential clients through various mediums including WebEx and face-to-face meetings.

Your experience includes developing qualified leads through targeted outbound calling and event attendance, showcasing your ability to engage with corporations that have complex and mission-critical server configurations. You embrace the culture at Rackspace, contributing positively to team events and making recommendations for improvements at both the company and team levels.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales life-cycle management, which includes prospecting, discovery, education, and thought leadership. You will propose solutions, negotiate terms, respond to sales inquiries, and ultimately close business with corporations. Your ability to develop relationships and understand client needs will be crucial in driving sales success.

You will work closely with the Rackspace Enterprise New Business sales team, focusing on identifying and pursuing complex solution opportunities. Your role will involve educating potential clients about Rackspace's offerings and how they can meet their specific needs. You will also be expected to maintain a strong pipeline of leads and manage your sales activities effectively to meet and exceed your sales targets.
