RStudio is hiring a Senior Manager of Enterprise Sales to lead the expansion of their data science platform within existing enterprise customers. You'll be responsible for developing the expansion playbook and mentoring a team of Enterprise Account Managers. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in SaaS sales.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly in a SaaS environment, with at least 5 years of experience leading sales teams. Your expertise lies in developing strategies that drive customer adoption and expansion, and you understand the nuances of navigating complex sales cycles. You are skilled in high-value negotiations and can effectively communicate with C-level executives, helping them realize the value of data science infrastructure.
You possess strong mentorship abilities, having successfully led teams in high-growth settings. You thrive in collaborative environments and can bridge the gap between sales, customer success, and technical teams. Your analytical mindset allows you to forecast sales accurately and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the architect of the expansion playbook, responsible for formalizing strategies that transition departmental users into enterprise-wide adopters of RStudio's data science platform. You will lead and mentor a team of at least five Enterprise Account Managers, instilling a culture of performance and accountability. Your focus will be on predictable forecasting, ensuring that the Chief Sales Officer receives accurate insights into renewal risks and expansion opportunities.
You will actively support your team in high-value negotiations, particularly on deals exceeding $250k, and help architect Enterprise License Agreements. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical health translates into commercial growth. You will also engage in global account mapping, identifying opportunities for expansion within Global 2000 accounts.
