Who you are
You have a technical foundation and a keen interest in sales β you're eager to learn and grow into a Sales Engineer role that drives regional revenue goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside Field and Sales Engineering teammates to develop innovative solutions for customers. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively evangelize and position Rubrik's products to both technical staff and senior management.
You are comfortable with technology and have a basic understanding of distributed architectures and file systems β this knowledge will help you assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions. You are a quick learner, ready to absorb on-the-job training and apply it to real-world scenarios.
Desirable
Experience in a technical sales environment or familiarity with data management solutions would be a plus. A background in IT or a related field can help you excel in this role, as you will be expected to act as a trusted technology advisor to customers.
What you'll do
As an Inside Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff. You will assist in pre-sales activities, demonstrating technical expertise on Rubrikβs products and competitive storage offerings. Your role will involve making technical presentations and demonstrations to channel partners and customers, ensuring they understand the value of Rubrik's hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform.
You will work closely with the sales team to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned customers. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be crucial as you engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will oversee day-to-day account-level activities, ensuring that customer needs are met and that you are driving innovative technical programs. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the sales team and the satisfaction of our customers.
