Who you are
You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a similar role — you've successfully driven revenue goals and understand the nuances of pre-sales activities. Your technical expertise allows you to provide valuable insights and solutions to customers, making you a trusted advisor in the sales process.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences — your ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams is key to your success. You are proactive in identifying customer needs and can effectively position solutions that align with their business objectives.
What you'll do
As a Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff, ensuring that fully integrated technology solutions are developed to support pre-sales activities. You will assist in the analysis, design, and development of these solutions, demonstrating your subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products and competitive storage offerings.
You will be responsible for making technical and sales presentations to customers' technical staff and senior management, acting as a consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet their technology and business requirements. Your role will involve building strong relationships with the account team, partners, and customers to support sales objectives and leverage corporate resources effectively.
