Overview
Rubrik is seeking a Senior Manager for Training & Enablement to lead global training initiatives through Rubrik University. This role focuses on developing strategies for product proficiency and adoption. Experience in team leadership and curriculum management is essential.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in training and enablement, ideally with a focus on technology products. Your background includes developing and executing training strategies that align with business goals, ensuring that all training programs drive product adoption and customer satisfaction. You are a natural leader, capable of mentoring and developing a high-performing team of trainers and content developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and instructional excellence.
You excel in stakeholder alignment, collaborating closely with various departments such as Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Your ability to ensure that training content is accurate and timely is critical in addressing knowledge gaps across the organization. You are adept at managing both technical and non-technical training curricula, ensuring that all materials are relevant and up-to-date.
You possess strong organizational skills, allowing you to oversee the development and maintenance of training curricula effectively. You understand the importance of program ownership, particularly in delivering training for internal employees, customers, and partners. Your experience includes onboarding, ongoing upskilling, and advanced certifications for various roles within the organization.
Desirable
Experience in a technology-focused environment is a plus, as is familiarity with training methodologies and adult learning principles. You may have a background in instructional design or content development, which would enhance your ability to create engaging and effective training programs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define the strategic roadmap and operational plan for Rubrik University, ensuring that all training initiatives align with the company's goals for product adoption and revenue growth. You will lead a team of trainers and content developers, mentoring them to achieve instructional excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that training content is accurate and addresses critical knowledge gaps. This includes overseeing the development and maintenance of training curricula for both technical and non-technical audiences. You will own the delivery model for all training types, including internal employee training, customer training, and partner enablement.
Your responsibilities will also include managing public live sessions and customized private training focused on product usage, features, and best practices. You will be instrumental in driving product proficiency and adoption across employees, customers, and partners, ensuring that all training initiatives contribute to overall success.
