Who you are
You have experience in business development or agency management, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector — you've successfully built and maintained relationships with brokers and agents, understanding their needs and how to support them effectively. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. You are proactive and results-oriented, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes for your partners. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Desirable
Experience in the commercial insurance industry is a plus, particularly with self-storage or related sectors. Familiarity with insurance products and the brokerage landscape will help you hit the ground running. You are comfortable using technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance partner engagement, and you have a knack for training and onboarding new partners effectively.
What you'll do
As the Agency Development Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our producer partners, responsible for identifying and recruiting high-performing commercial lines agencies and brokers. You will lead the appointment process, ensuring that new producers are onboarded smoothly and understand how to utilize the SafeLease portal to quote and bind business efficiently. Your role will involve ongoing relationship management, where you will support producers in maximizing their use of our platform and understanding our product offerings. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our services meet the needs of our partners and contribute to the overall growth of SafeLease.
