Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, where you've successfully managed large accounts and complex negotiations. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions is key to your success. You thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills with both clients and internal teams. You are comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and have experience with high-value sales processes, typically ranging from $100k to $500k.
Desirable
Experience in industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation is a plus, as it will help you relate to the challenges faced by our customers. Familiarity with IoT technologies and their applications in physical operations will give you an edge in understanding our product offerings and how they can benefit clients.
What you'll do
As a Core Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with our largest enterprise customers. You will work closely with clients to identify outdated technologies and help them transition to our Connected Operationsβ’ Cloud platform. Your role will involve conducting proof of concepts, managing trials, and negotiating pricing structures to ensure a smooth sales process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer, ultimately helping them improve their operational efficiency and sustainability.
You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to position Samsara effectively in the market. Your insights will contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our reach within the enterprise sector. Regularly reporting on sales metrics and customer feedback will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that we continuously improve our approach and offerings.
