You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or IoT solutions. You thrive in high-energy environments and are passionate about helping businesses improve their operations through innovative technology. You are skilled at building relationships with various stakeholders, including owners and operational managers, and can navigate complex sales processes involving proof of concepts and negotiations. You are motivated by the opportunity to impact industries that are crucial to the global economy, such as agriculture, construction, and transportation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to small and medium-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's products can enhance their operations. You will manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, typically involving sales ranging from $5k to $20k. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that the solutions provided are tailored to their specific requirements. Your role will also involve conducting presentations and demonstrations, negotiating pricing, and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
