Samsara is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Collections to lead their US Enterprise Collections team. You'll partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to drive timely cash collection while delivering a white-glove customer experience.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in collections management, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment β you've successfully led teams in driving cash collection strategies and understand the nuances of working with enterprise customers. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute effective collections strategies that align with business goals while maintaining a strong customer focus.
You possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams β you excel in coaching and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth. Your ability to manage escalations and navigate complex situations ensures that customer relationships remain strong even during challenging times.
You are adept at cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance teams β you understand the importance of aligning collections efforts with broader business objectives and are skilled at communicating effectively across departments. Your analytical skills enable you to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions that enhance collections processes.
Desirable
Experience in the IoT or technology sector is a plus β familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in these industries will help you navigate the collections landscape effectively. A background in finance or accounting can also be beneficial, providing you with a solid understanding of financial principles that underpin collections strategies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the collections strategy and execution for Samsaraβs largest and most strategic enterprise customers β you will lead the US Enterprise Collections team, ensuring that cash collection efforts are timely and effective. Your focus will be on delivering a white-glove customer experience, balancing the need for cash flow with the importance of maintaining strong customer relationships.
You will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for improving collections processes β your insights will help shape strategies that enhance customer satisfaction while driving revenue. You will also collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to address any escalations or disputes that arise, ensuring that resolutions are reached efficiently and effectively.
As a leader, you will manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to team members as they navigate their responsibilities β you will foster a culture of accountability and excellence, encouraging team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling the collections function as the company grows.
