You have a proven track record in growth leadership, particularly within defense or maritime sectors, and possess a deep understanding of the U.S. Department of Defense's operational requirements. Your experience includes navigating complex acquisition pathways and developing strategic approaches to capture opportunities. You are adept at building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Your background includes extensive knowledge of U.S. Special Operations Command, with a specific emphasis on Naval Special Warfare. You understand the intricacies of CONOPs, resourcing, and the entire Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) pipeline. You are passionate about revitalizing America’s maritime superiority and have a clear vision of the gaps that need to be addressed to achieve this goal.
You are a creative thinker who can navigate intricate requirements and deliver exceptional results. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders is a key strength, allowing you to advocate for necessary resources and strategic initiatives. You thrive in environments that require both strategic foresight and tactical execution, ensuring that your team is aligned with organizational goals.
Desirable
Experience in accelerated acquisition pathways and a strong understanding of Major Force Program Funding will set you apart. Prior military operational experience is highly valued, as is familiarity with INDOPACIFIC problem sets. You are committed to continuous learning and professional growth, eager to take on challenges that will enhance your skills and impact.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the campaign to develop, shape, propose, and capture programs in unmanned maritime systems. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities that align with the company’s vision and the needs of the Department of Defense. Your responsibilities will include building and implementing a strategic approach to address complex maritime challenges, ensuring that your team is equipped to deliver capabilities at the speed of relevance.
You will have direct input on capital deployment to close on requirements and gaps, advocating for resources that will enhance the company’s competitive edge.
