Who you are
You have experience in managing chargebacks and dispute resolution processes, acting as a critical link between merchants, issuing banks, and card schemes. You are skilled in investigating and documenting financial disputes, ensuring high service standards are maintained throughout the process. Your ability to engage directly with clients and resolve queries effectively is a key strength. You are detail-oriented and capable of analyzing data and documentation to prepare cases that meet company and card scheme requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with team members and other departments to achieve targets. You stay updated with the latest developments in card scheme dispute management and are proactive in troubleshooting and researching processing errors. Your experience includes training and knowledge sharing with peers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end dispute resolution process for card transactions, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently and effectively. You will engage with merchants and issuing banks to resolve transaction queries and disputes, taking ownership of each case and determining the most appropriate course of action. Your responsibilities will include investigating and compiling data to represent chargebacks, analyzing documentation, and consulting with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve client disputes. You will establish and maintain relationships with key clients and third parties, ensuring that communication is clear and effective. You will work closely with other team members and departments to ensure that targets are met and that the dispute resolution process is streamlined. Additionally, you will assist in documenting and reviewing policies and procedures related to chargebacks and dispute management. Your role will also involve training and knowledge sharing with peers, helping to build a knowledgeable and capable team.
