Job Description
Who you are
You have a background in customer support or technical assistance, ideally with experience in helping clients implement software solutions. You are comfortable working with APIs and have a knack for troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring that clients can successfully integrate payment solutions into their systems. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to guide customers effectively through the implementation process, often using platforms like Slack to provide real-time assistance. You take ownership of reported issues, diligently working until a satisfactory resolution is achieved, and you are proactive in monitoring client progress to ensure successful outcomes.
Desirable
Experience with payment processing systems or similar technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with debugging programming codes. A passion for technology and a desire to help clients succeed will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with our customers' developers in a testing environment, assisting them in implementing Shift4 products and services according to our APIs and technical specifications. You will answer questions and provide guidance during the implementation process, ensuring that all integrations are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting reported technical issues, identifying root causes, and providing solutions, including debugging programming codes. You will take ownership of any reported errors or bugs until they are resolved, proactively monitoring the client's development progress and documenting all activities until the project is completed. Additionally, you will support customers as they transition to the live payment processing environment and provide a technical handover to affiliate teams to ensure everyone is aware of the implementation details.
