You are a qualified lawyer with a law degree and over 5 years of experience practicing law in Europe, ideally within the fintech, payments, or technology sectors. Your expertise lies in commercial contracts and negotiations, and you have a strong understanding of data privacy laws, including GDPR. You are commercially oriented and can provide practical, risk-aware legal advice that supports business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with various stakeholders across the organization. Your ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements is complemented by your experience in providing data protection and privacy advice. You are interested in innovation and technology, and you thrive in environments that challenge you to think creatively about legal solutions.

Desirable

Experience in developing training materials and drafting privacy-related policies would be a plus. Familiarity with the fintech landscape and a proactive approach to identifying legal risks and providing practical solutions will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including partnership and client contracts. You will support the sales team by structuring deals and enabling innovation while identifying legal risks and providing practical solutions. Your role will also involve providing data protection and privacy advice, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable frameworks.

You will collaborate with different stakeholders within the company to develop templates and training materials related to privacy policies. Your contributions will help Shift4 navigate the complexities of commercial law in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape, ensuring that the company remains compliant while pursuing its business objectives.
