Overview
Sitetracker is hiring a Senior Salesforce Engineer to build high-quality, scalable software for real-world infrastructure deployment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and utilize your Salesforce expertise. This role requires hands-on coding and collaboration skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on Salesforce development — you've built scalable applications that support infrastructure deployment across various sectors like telecom and energy. Your technical maturity and craftsmanship are evident in the quality of your code and your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
You are a hands-on builder who enjoys translating product and technical requirements into implementation plans — you write clean, maintainable, and unit-testable code, ensuring that your contributions are both effective and efficient. Your experience includes debugging complex issues across multiple systems, and you understand the importance of user empathy in software development.
You are familiar with using AI tools to assist in generating and refining code and test coverage — this innovative approach allows you to enhance your productivity and the quality of your work. You have a solid understanding of synchronous and asynchronous processes, applying them appropriately in your projects.
What you'll do
As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will design and implement features end-to-end while partnering closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and fellow engineers across the platform — your role will involve breaking down technical requirements and drafting sections of technical design documentation. You will independently manage smaller projects, ensuring that all technical specifications are met.
You will optimize database query performance and indexing, contributing to the overall efficiency of the applications you develop. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and understanding of strong engineering fundamentals. You will model best practices in coding and documentation, elevating engineering excellence across the team.
What we offer
At Sitetracker, you will be part of a modern engineering organization that values craftsmanship, velocity, and user empathy. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your growth and development are important to us. Join us in building impactful software that supports real-world infrastructure deployment.
