What you'll do
In this role, you will plan and execute UI/UX validation campaigns for new software releases, ensuring that the human-machine interface is flight-critical and performs reliably. You will design and run operator-in-the-loop flight tests to evaluate real-world usability and decision support, validating mobile and controller UI performance during live and simulated flight operations. Your responsibilities will include creating and automating smoke, regression, and sanity stress tests to ensure the robustness of the software. You will collaborate with mobile, embedded middleware, design, and other software hardware teams to expose edge cases and improve usability. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with Skydio aircraft, shaping the future of drone technology.
