Skydio is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead engineering searches and partner with company leaders in shaping the future of autonomous flight. This role requires expertise in building diverse talent pipelines and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in technical recruiting, particularly in engineering roles, and thrive in fast-paced environments where you can influence hiring strategies and organizational design. Your ability to build and calibrate high-performing, diverse talent pipelines is second nature, especially for niche skill sets in emerging technology domains. You understand the importance of delivering a best-in-class candidate experience at every touchpoint, ensuring that candidates feel valued and informed throughout the hiring process.
You are a strategic partner to senior engineering leaders, adept at influencing headcount planning and talent acquisition strategies. Your hands-on approach allows you to own the end-to-end talent strategy for core engineering organizations, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture. You are comfortable driving executive-level recruiting engagements, from calibrations through to close, and you excel at building relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will operate as a strategic recruiting partner to senior engineering leaders, influencing organizational design and headcount planning. You will own the end-to-end talent strategy and execution for one or more of our core engineering organizations, ensuring that we attract and retain top technical talent. Your responsibilities will include building and calibrating high-performing, diverse talent pipelines for niche, competitive skill sets in emerging technology domains. You will drive executive-level recruiting engagements, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies that align with our company culture and values. Your role will also involve analyzing recruiting metrics to continuously improve our processes and outcomes, ensuring that we remain competitive in attracting top talent. You will play a key role in defining how we hire as we scale, contributing to the overall success of Skydio as a leader in autonomous flight technology.
