You have experience in sales and a proven track record of taking ownership of the full sales cycle, from sourcing and engaging leads to closing deals and nurturing long-term customer relationships. You thrive in a remote work environment and are located on the East Coast, allowing you to collaborate effectively with your team and clients across the region.
You possess the ability to clearly demonstrate value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, which is key to your success in this role. You are comfortable working with forward-thinking, tech-savvy clients and understand the importance of building strong relationships to drive business growth. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate the benefits of Smartcar's developer-friendly vehicle APIs effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, engaging with potential clients and guiding them through the process of integrating Smartcar's APIs into their products. You will work closely with senior leadership to help shape and expand Smartcar's footprint across the region, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and providing exceptional customer service to nurture long-term relationships.
You will collaborate with the VP of Partnerships and other team members to develop strategies that align with Smartcar's mission to simplify how people securely connect their favorite apps and services to their cars. Your role will involve understanding client needs and translating them into actionable insights that drive product development and sales strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
