Who you are

You are an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the State and Local Government sector. You have a history of exceeding sales quotas and developing customer accounts, showcasing your ability to navigate complex government procurement processes and cycles. You understand the intricacies of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and you are adept at tailoring sales presentations to meet the specific needs of government agencies. Your strong relationship-building skills allow you to connect with key decision-makers, ensuring that you stay informed about government regulations and compliance requirements related to software procurement. You thrive in a solution-based sales environment, working collaboratively with multiple groups within accounts that have 2,000 to 10,000 employees.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within the State and Local Government sector, focusing on Local Government in California and Hawaii. You will develop and prospect new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to exceed software and services sales quotas. You will navigate the complexities of government procurement processes, ensuring that you understand and respond effectively to RFPs and RFQs. Your ability to tailor sales presentations and proposals will be crucial in addressing the specific challenges faced by State and Local Government agencies. You will build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed sales quotas and develop long-term customer accounts.
