Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role — you've successfully built and managed a sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas. Your ability to analyze client needs and proactively target high-value opportunities sets you apart as a change agent in the sales process.
You are motivated and passionate about driving growth — you thrive in environments where you can leverage existing relationships to expand your company's footprint. Your curiosity and proactive nature allow you to identify client needs before they even recognize them themselves, making you an invaluable member of the enterprise sales team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for increasing software sales across a territory of enterprise accounts, which typically consist of organizations with 5,000+ employees. You will execute a solution-based sales process that involves collaborating with multiple groups within these accounts to ensure that Smartsheet's offerings align with their needs.
You will develop and prospect new business opportunities within existing customers, analyzing their operations to identify high-value needs across various departments. Your role will also involve building and managing a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales quotas consistently.
You will work closely with the Regional Director of Enterprise Sales, reporting on your progress and collaborating on strategies to enhance sales performance. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial as you navigate complex sales cycles and drive expansion efforts.
